Eataly’s Venues
On June 12, 2025, the popular Italian marketplace celebrated the opening of its first Florida location at Aventura Mall in Miami, with West Palm Beach already announced as the state’s second.
Since its founding in 2002, Eataly has grown to more than 40 locations across the United States, Italy, and the world, offering the best Italian food, wine, culinary classes, and culture to big cities around the globe.
Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America, said, “Our mission with Eataly Aventura is to transport guests to Italy without ever having to leave Miami-Dade County. We are very much looking forward to bringing Eataly’s one-of-a-kind experience to this community.”
The new location, spanning 30,000 square feet, is carefully designed to highlight the rich flavors and beloved traditions of Italian cuisine. It features a lively food scene, an extensive wine selection, a variety of desserts, specialty Italian products, and hands-on culinary classes, offering visitors a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore Italy’s culinary heritage and culture.
The new Miami venue offers visitors a large selection of fresh ingredients and authentic “Made in Italy” products that showcase the richness of Italy’s gastronomic heritage. Eataly’s commitment to quality is evident in every aspect, from sourcing local produce to engaging customers through cooking classes and tastings.
Eataly’s Contemporary + Innovative Approach
Eataly’s innovative approach offers visitors an immersive experience, allowing them to enjoy high-quality Italian food, purchase authentic ingredients, and participate in cooking classes and workshops. It creates an exciting and engaging atmosphere for food enthusiasts.
According to Eataly, “Eataly aims to transport guests with its philosophy of ‘eat, shop, and learn’—championing the Italian art of living through its unique mix of restaurants, retail, and education. Designed as a truly authentic experience, Eataly Aventura has two sit-down restaurants (La Pizza & La Pasta and Il Pastaio), several quick-service counters, a robust retail selection, a wine shop, and a dedicated cooking school.”
Eataly’s Story:
“In November 2002, the Eataly concept was born from Oscar Farinetti’s idea sketched on a piece of paper. The idea was simple: to gather under one roof high-quality food at sustainable and reasonable prices for ALL, celebrate Italian biodiversity, and create an informal, natural, and simple place to eat, shop, and learn.
The first Eataly opened its doors in Torino on January 27, 2007, when an old vermouth factory was transformed into Eataly Torino Lingotto – the very first multifunctional marketplace dedicated to Italian excellence in the world.
The rest is history! Since then, Eataly has expanded, with more than 40 locations throughout Italy and the world.”- source Eataly.
