Where Vision Meets Execution
Some leaders don’t just follow the currents, they chart entirely new waters. Arkup’s 75-foot solar-powered luxury yacht is a perfect embodiment of that mindset.
Making its debut on Miami’s waterfront, it’s a bold statement in both design and ambition: fully self-sufficient, harvesting and purifying its own water, cruising up to 20 miles on a single electric charge, and capable of going completely off the grid.
More than a vessel, it’s a symbol of what happens when visionaries dare to dream, innovate, and execute.
Arkup isn’t just redefining life on the water, it’s redefining what leadership, ambition, and possibility can look like in the future.

The yacht showcased in the video shows floor-to-ceiling glass walls, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area, and a large extendable entertainment deck.
All engineered to withstand a Category 4 hurricane with winds up to 155 mph, built to ABYC and NMMA standards, ensuring it functions as a true seafaring vessel.

Founded in 2016 by engineers Nicolas Derouin and Arnaud Luguet, Arkup embodies the motto, “Avant-garde life on water.”
The founders view their creation as a forward-looking approach and in a conversation with CEO Magazine, co-founder Nicolas Derouin even likens Arkup to Tesla, positioning it as a mix of innovation and lifestyle.
He says: “In the beginning, Tesla was a luxury product only the rich could afford. But its new range is a lot more accessible now. In the same way, Arkup will become a responsibly green alternative to conventional housing,” he predicts. “We don’t pretend to be the only solution to rising sea levels, but we feel that we can be part of the solution. We’re building foundations for the next generation to have a more sustainable, resilient world.”- via CEO Magazine
Arkup can also be seen as a bold reimagining of hospitality. Andreas King-Geovanis, CEO and founder of Sextant Stays, tells Bloomberg: “We view Arkup not as real estate, but as a hospitality experience—offering the allure of an overwater villa without the journey to the Maldives.”
He envisions smaller Arkup models opening the door for companies like his to curate multiple units, bringing this rarefied lifestyle within reach for more guests.
