Rihanna Is the New Face of Dior’s Iconic J’Adore Fragrance

On June 18, 2024, Dior officially welcomed Rihanna as the new face of their iconic J’Adore fragrance. The first campaign is set to debut on September 1 and will be captured by legendary photographer Steven Klein. In an Instagram post, Dior Beauty says, “Parfums Christian Dior is truly delighted to welcome icon Rihanna, whose wide-ranging talents, remarkable beauty and universal appeal now embody the world of J’adore.”
Véronique Courtois, CEO of Parfums Christian Dior says, “The unusual talent, audacity, and captivating beauty of this absolute star are the ideal embodiment of dazzling, powerful Dior femininity that transcends generations. Her golden dream promises to be unique, reflecting a fragrance that is present for women and retains its radiance,” according to an exclusive article from WWD.
Rihanna will replace Charlize Theron as J'Adore's official face. Theron has been part of J'Adore campaigns for over 20 years and is now the French fashion house's style and jewelry ambassador.

In 2015, Rihanna made history by becoming the first Black ambassador for Dior. Since then, she has nurtured a strong relationship with the brand and its parent company LVMH through successful ventures like Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.
Rihanna says, “Being the new face of J’Adore is both an honor and a mission.This scent that I have known and loved for so long means so much to women. I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”
