Louis Vuitton Is Launching Makeup With Pat McGrath As Creative Director

On March 5, Louis Vuitton announced that it will launch a new makeup line titled "La Beauté Louis Vuitton" in Fall 2025. Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath wll serve as creative director. The partnership offers a diverse collection of products, which includes 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and eight eyeshadow quads in its debut collection.

Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton said, "through this new universe, we have the opportunity to further accompany clients in their everyday lives with purpose and pleasure, while continuing to celebrate our creativity and heritage.”

In a joint Instagram post, louisvuitton and patmcgrathreal shared, “La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The House is proud to welcome Dame @patmcgrathreal as Creative Director of the newest dimension of Louis Vuitton, crafting a beauty experience that extends beyond products in a continuation of her longstanding partnership with the House.”

McGrath said in a press release, “Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, which is the result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity and innovation. The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty."

Pat McGrath launched her own cosmetics brand Pat McGrath Labs. According to Forbers, "Pat McGrath Labs, which launched in 2015 and quickly grew to become valued at $1 billion." McGrath is a highly influential makeup artist, named a British dame in 2020 and honored with the CFDA's Founders Award in 2017. Despite no formal training, she rose to prominence as beauty director at i-D magazine and became beauty editor-at-large for British Vogue in 2017.
